on the weekend audrey had a friend stay over and we decided to go to the skatepark. we planned to get the girls lessons because audrey hasn’t skated before. then we decided there was no need. her friend had skated before and although danny hasn’t skated for a while, he did skate throughout his youth and i think he is pretty good, especially in a bowl so we figured he could surely teach them a thing or two!
they honestly had the best time… we were there for hours and i cant believe how good they got so quickly, riding down steep ramps and being courageous enough to ride with all the boys.
me on the other hand… i was totally freaking out! hovering near by, helicopter parenting… so embarrassing! sometimes i just had to cover my eyes because all i could think about is the girls falling on concrete… grazed knees or broken limbs! needless to say, we all got out of their alive, injury free! the girls are already talking about the next time and audrey is dreaming of the perfect skateboard!
so you know how the 10 on 10 works. i link to one of my dear and inspiring friends so you can stop by and see what they are up to, then keep following the links till you come back here. go take a peek at ginger unzueta and how she sees things.
thanks so much for stopping by! if you do a 10 on 10 project, be sure to leave a link in the comments below so i can stop by and take a peek. rowe x
