i shot an amazing home by the sea over the weekend. its for sale and the owner asked if i would shoot it for the advertising campaign. forever ago i used to shoot homes for a company in sydney called search party locations – they find amazing locations for tv commercials and photographic shoots.
anyway, it has been the longest time since i took interior shots and i dont really know the tricks of the trade at all as far as real estate photography goes… but i really enjoyed doing it and the photos turned out great!
of course im happy they turned out so nice but its bitter sweet… see your looking at photos of my little families home. we have come to love this place and i feel like i could stay forever…
i ♥ the view. i dont even have to go to the beach. just looking at it soothes my soul! oh and the light… all the beautiful golden light makes me feel warm and happy… i never want to leave but of course we must!
so i spent a good part of tonight looking for a new place to live and after hours searching all over the coast, even in places we really dont want to be, i feel a little disheartened because i saw nothing as lovely as this.
i know everything happens for a reason and we have had 7 amazing months here. what a beautiful place to spend our first summer away from sydney! maybe tomorrow something amazing will come up! fingers crossed.

p.s. the black + white photo was purely for my album… im pretty sure they dont use b+w photos for real estate last time i checked!
