{valentines}

oh i know i know it was forever ago but i havent had a chance to look at these photos cause clients photos are far more important but now ive seen them i really must share them!

so what did we get upto…  we rode our bikes down the beach boardwalk to one of our favourite places to eat a yummy breakfast.  i wore my alice mcall ‘love is a drug’ tee which i thought was appropriate but a singlet may have been a better choice cause it was a sweltering hot day…  we came home and swam.  it was a really perfect day, relaxed and full of giggles!

so you probably wondering how i am in so many of the photos…  im never in the photos!  well audrey took them of course.  she loves to take photos…  its so funny seeing her with this massive camera almost bigger than she is…  i get a bit panicked about her dropping it but she is super careful and her photos are really amazing!

so in the photo collage where she took a photo of me taking her photo – if that makes sense – we are sitting there and she says she wants one of us together and takes a few and then she turns the camera on its side to take a portrait photo and i felt a wave of serious nervousness wash over me as she tried to balance it in one hand while she uses the other hand to push the shutter…  im freaking out and im thinking, she cant get both of us in with it turned that way and i tell her so.  she tells me ‘ i know what im doing mumma’ and clearly she does cause when i look at the photos i realise she wanted to get some of us together and then some of each of us by ourselves but she didnt want the other person in the frame so she turned the camera to do a portrait photo…  how clever is that!

i especially love the way she directs us too saying things like ‘look at each other’ and ‘you can kiss now’.  my favourite shot are the ones on our bikes, especially the blurry one…  oh how i love that!
