cleaning up my computer i stumbled across this session from my melbourne trip in april.

these guys were honestly the most fun ever… so much spirit and love in their photos!

i planned to blog it forever ago but we all know im a terrible blogger…

anyway, thanks so much rowena, dean and erin for hanging out with me for the afternoon!

my last few trips to sydney have been all rained out…  i imagine its the worst summer they have ever had or i just have terrible timing!

this shoot was cut short because the dark clouds eventually did open up and the rain poured down but i love what i did capture in our brief time together!  i really love the light on overcast days…  its so soft and pretty!

how sweet are these two little girls?  the day i met with melinda and her family it was overcast and rainy…  we found a dry place on the deck, threw a rug down and popped up a princess tent.  i must say, i really like rainy day shoots!

a few favourite images from a recent sydney portrait session…  a beautiful family and yummy golden light…  just perfect!

october has been crazy with me spending the last two weekends in sydney shooting!  ive photographed more than a few portraits, 2 christenings and a commercial shoot for a nappy company…  cant wait to share the images with you all soon!

i cant believe christmas is only 9.5 weeks away!  i have more sydney enquires and very few weekends free to schedule a trip…  perhaps ill come mid november?  if not, these dates below may be my last weekend dates for sydney.  for now here are the sessions i have available over the next 3 weeks…

sunshine coast  |  saturday 22nd october

sydney  |  saturday 29th october  |  sunday 30th october

gold coast  |  saturday 5th november

im always available for weekday sessions in brisbane, the gold coast and byron.  i havent put those dates here as most people seem to prefer the weekend but do contact me if a weekday session interests you.  rowe x

what a lovely family…  meet stella who is 6 months old and ever so sweet.

when lisa said they lived at a scouts centre i wasnt prepared for just how gorgeous it would be!  what a relaxed shoot we had, wandering around finding pretty places and sunshine to take pictures.

happy birthday lisa!  hope the rest of your day was all kinds of lovely and thanks for the yummy cake!

introducing madeleine grace!  she is oh so sweet…  sean and kezia love her to bits!

she was just 3.5 weeks old when i went to meet her and do her portrait.

kezia was hoping to get a few sleeping shots but madeleine loves to be cuddled and often wakes when she is put down so we were sure it just wouldnt happen.

to our surprise, she was the perfect little model!  rowe x

meet madison.  her mum got her a portfolio session for her 17th birthday!   i love doing these sessions cause they are always super fun and its something different!

madison was ever so sweet.  she has the most flawless skin and gorgeous eyes…  i have over 100 fave photos so it was almost impossible to choose what to blog…  i just loved shooting her!

we have had so much rain these last few months that this session was booked and postponed 3 or 4 times…  its been crazy…  the weather was the reason i canceled my march sydney trip but im making it up to those who have waited so patiently by giving session dates for april and may so i can squeeze everyone in!

SYDNEY…

APRIL – friday 8th, saturday 9th and sunday 10th.

MAY – friday 6th, saturday 7th, sunday 8th and monday 9th.

im only taking 4 sessions per visit so these trips will fill quickly but ill be home again late june.  dates will be announced for that trip shortly!

when i met nicola and tim, i was excited…  it was really lovely to shoot some ‘big’ kids for a change!  i loved just chatting with them and finding out what they like and a little about who they are.

thanks graham and kris for having me shoot your family.  it was really nice to meet you all and especially good to take photos so close to home!  rowe x

im so excited to share a few photos of my girlfriend sheree and her gorgeous baby belly…  we have been friends for the longest time so i was super excited when i found out she was pregnant.  audrey loves her so much and i always knew she would be the most amazing mum!

how pretty does she look, all glowing and full of joy…

ive been so busy with clients images to edit that i really havent had a moment to look at these till now (sorry shell!)…  they were actually taken in august so her little bubba is no longer in her belly…  he was born 2 weeks ago today so watch this space cause soon ill share photos of him and believe me when i say, he is all kinds of adorable!  rowe x

meet sienna…  we spent a happy morning together in bronte when i was in sydney recently.  isnt she just the most divine little thing!

i love the way she would turn her back and sulk just a little with her arms crossed and the sweetest pout when things didnt go the way she had hoped, then just seconds later she would be over it and all smiling…  i love the many moods of a little person and love capturing it all!
