{commercial kids photography… little one kids magazine ~ part 1}

i love little one baby magazine so the thought of shooting an editorial for the first issue of little one kids magazine was super exciting!

i love everything about shooting fashion stories for magazines… coming up with a concept, choosing the location and the talent, all the super cute outfits… mostly i love the collaboration between myself and other creatives and seeing it all come together, the final product…

if you havent seen the magazine, be sure to go get yourself a copy! its a huge issue, filled with inspiring parties, gorgeous kids rooms and lots of beautiful images!

what a crazy day… i photographed two 1st birthday parties today on the gold coast, both gorgeous boys who’s mummas went all out to throw the best parties ever! loads of fun was had by all…

this is just a teeny tiny sneak peek of gabe because i couldnt help myself… how adorable is he and that little bow tie!

{lana del ray ~ video games}

how well does my gorgeous friend, laura know me! she posted this song on facebook for me today and i love it so!

the film clip makes me feel nostalgic for moments with dear, sweet friends… for yesterdays where life was simple and carefree… im not sure why, but isnt it amazing how music can do that?

something about her raspy vocals and her beauty is just mesmerising!

ive listened to the song half a dozen times already so im going to spend some of tomorrow looking around at her other work.

i hope i find something just as lovely as this song!

im just wondering where i have been because i had never heard of lana del rey… it just reminds me that there are so many artists yet to be discovered which is exciting indeed… on that note, i would love to hear from others with song suggestions! feel free to share links in the comments here or on my facebook page.

{one rainy day in october}

how sweet are these two little girls? the day i met with melinda and her family it was overcast and rainy… we found a dry place on the deck, threw a rug down and popped up a princess tent. i must say, i really like rainy day shoots!
